Create your own legend with your friends as you adventure through the vibrant fantasy realm of Terrinoth! Powered by the fully integrated free companion app, Descent: Legends of the Dark puts you in the role of a budding hero with your own play style and skills. Together with your unlikely companions, you embark on an unexpected adventure - an adventure told through the 16 missions of the Blood and Flame campaign. During your campaign you will encounter undead lurking in the mists, demonic barbarians prowling the wilderness, and even more terrifying threats.

Descent: Legends of the Dark is not the third edition of Descent: Journeys in the Dark and is not compatible with Descent: Journeys in the Dark content despite being set in the same Terrinoth world.

Although Journeys in the Dark included the companion app Road to Legend, that game was always designed as a competitive experience, with one to four heroes playing against a single overlord. Legends of the Dark uses the integrated companion app to deliver cooperative play from the start, so you and your friends can focus solely on becoming the heroes of Terrinoth.

Game elements such as combat, fatigue, skills, items and more have been completely revamped with Legends of the Dark, while a new approach to scenario layout and 3D terrain creates striking multi-level scenarios.

The app also brings new changes to the gameplay, introducing enemies with customizable strategies, complex status effects and triggers fully managed by the app, and the ability to develop your heroes based on the choices you make in scenarios. You'll also discover plenty of activity between scenarios, such as crafting, shopping in town, upgrading equipment, and more. With 46 pieces of 3D terrain and 40 stunning hero and monster miniatures to engage you in the game, your greatest adventure is here before you!
