In this well-known laying game, the players jointly build the French city of Carcassonne with all its roads, towns, monasteries and meadows. By deploying serfs they score points for completed projects. Each turn you place one land tile and you may place one follower on it. Which type it is depends on the tile. There are tiles with road sections, monasteries, city districts and/or meadow sections. In principle, there may not be more than one follower on a project, but if two unfinished parts are built together, it can still happen that more followers end up on them. Whoever has the most followers on a completed project immediately receives points. Different rules apply to the number of points to be received for each type of project. The game ends when all tiles have been placed. Whoever has the most points wins. Carcassonne is loved by both families and experienced players because it has sufficient depth despite the simple rules. The touch of luck gives everyone the opportunity to participate in the win until the end. The Games Friends: “ Carcassonne is of course a classic and we completely understand why. During Carcassonne you can relax and try to create the most beautiful landscape possible, while of course trying to outdo your opponent(s). Due to the many expansions, a game of Carcassonne is never the same and you can make the game as extensive as you want. Indispensable in every games cupboard!"

You are an amateur dracologist in the world of Wyrmspan, a place where dragons of all shapes, sizes and colors fly through the sky. Dig out a hidden labyrinth that you recently found on your estate and lure those beautiful creatures to settle in your caves. In Wyrmspan you build a sanctuary for dragons. Your shrine starts with a carmine lair, golden cavern and amethyst gorge. Over the course of the game you dig out additional fields and lure dragons to live there. Here's how to combine the powerful skills of your dragons and earn the favor of the dragon guild! Wyrmspan is a challenging board game for people who like to build up their motor skills during a game and like great variety. The game is based on the well-known bird game Wingspan by Elizabeth Hargrave, who also contributed to this game. If you are a fan of Wingspan and are looking for even more of a challenge, you can find it in Wyrmspan. The large number of dragons and associated descriptions also make the game very attractive for fantasy enthusiasts! In Wyrmspan you build a sanctuary for dragons. Your shrine starts with 3 excavated spaces, the 3 leftmost spaces of your carmine lair, golden cavern and amethyst gorge respectively. Over the course of the game you expand these 3 caves from left to right, first excavating empty spaces and then playing dragons on the excavated spaces. Wyrmspan consists of 4 rounds. Each round, players perform 1 action clockwise. The players continue to perform actions until they decide to pass; this usually happens when a player has used all his coins or has no more dragons in his hand that he wants or can play. The players who have not passed continue playing until all players have passed. Then the round is over. On your turn, you choose 1 action (dig, lure or explore) and place your adventurer there. You pay the cost in coins and/or eggs and perform the action. The winner of Wyrmspan is the player with the most victory points. You can earn these in various ways, including the value of played dragons, eggs, hidden cards, public objectives and the dragon guild.

Once a year, the best miracle doctors and proselytizers come together in Kakelenburg to brew drinks against sweaty feet, homesickness, hiccups and heartbreak. However, every quack cooks his own soup here. Each player draws ingredients from his own supply bag, composed during the course of the game, until he thinks his drink is perfect. But be careful: a few popping peas and the whole drink will explode. So it is better to stop in time and cook a smaller portion and use the proceeds to purchase valuable ingredients. In this way, the supply bag fills with more and more useful ingredients, which may make the next drink even better and earn more points. In this game with more than 2000 combination options, the proven deckbuilding system is combined with the popular “push your luck” mechanism. The Games Friends: “ The Kwakzalvers van Kakelenburg is a fantastic game, where you have to make many tactical choices and need a little bit of luck. There is activity on the market square of Kakelenburg. The players take on the role of 2 quacks, who compete for the spectators with a lot of fanfare and shouting. Extreme concentration is required on both sides, as every action is closely observed by the competitor. Both players try to lure the undecided patients to their stall, because every patient a player treats gives him more respect in the quack guildhouse. Which of you will be the next guild master of the Kwakzalvers van Kakelenburg? This version of the well-known board game “De Kwakzalvers van Kakelenburg” is only suitable for 2 players, but offers more interaction and mutual battle than the basic game. So anyone who likes to try their luck, thwart their opponent and try out different tactics will definitely get their money's worth in this game. The players try to attract patients from the park to their market stall. Both have a bottle with room for several chips and a bag with chips. On your turn, you draw chips until you voluntarily stop or your bottle explodes. Depending on the result, you may move the patient or even your market stall. If the patient reaches your market stall, you can treat him and the next patient leaves. After completing their drink, players may purchase new chips. Each token has certain properties, which are activated either immediately or later in a round. Once a player has treated his sixth patient, he immediately wins. The game also ends after round 7. Then the player who has treated the most patients wins.
