999 Games Catan: Cities & Knights Expansion (Dutch)
Spicy expansion on Catan, in which players deploy knights to protect the island against invading barbarians and develop their cities into metropolises. A copy of the base game is required to use this set. It is also possible to combine Cities and Knights with The Mariners of Catan. Cities and Knights now also has new artwork and playing pieces for even more gaming experience! This expansion set can only be combined with the latest edition of the base game (the 2012 edition with the plastic parts). In Cities and Knights you start with a city instead of a village. The game features commodities such as coins and paper, which you get when a number is rolled to your city. You need these commodities to expand your cities in three areas to higher levels, with the ultimate goal of creating a metropolis worth no less than 4 points. Just like in the basic game, you roll the dice at the start of your turn, but now a symbol die is added. This determines whether you earn a development card or whether the barbarian ship comes closer. When the barbarian ship arrives on the island, the players must defend themselves with knights. Knights cost 1 ore and 1 wool and must be activated with a grain. Anyone who does not arm themselves properly can easily lose a city to the barbarians. However, if you have the most activated knights, you will be declared the savior of Catan and rewarded with a point. To win Cities & Knights, you have to collect 13 points. Cities & Knights is an exciting expansion to the base game that requires more strategy and planning. It makes the game a little more complex, but you get a lot of fun in return.

Whoever has the most money after that wins. Boonanza is a fascinating trading game from the author of Agricola and Le Havre and is highly recommended for fans of, for example, The Settlers of Catan.

The desert is unforgiving, but so are you, so… Full throttle! Your tires send gravel flying, and your car lurches into a sickening sway as it loses control. Brace yourself, shift into gear, and accelerate. Your engine roars, and your car takes the next corner in a perfect line. You're still in the game, but watch out for the loose gravel on the track. Heat: Rocky Roads features two new race tracks. The South African Grand Prix will challenge you with treacherous gravel, requiring excellent car control and nerves of steel. Next Move Games Azul Mini - Board Game (NL)
Azuleojos (originally white and blue ceramic tiles) are an invention of the Moors. The decoration was appreciated by the Portuguese King Manuel I during his visit to the Alhambra, in the south of Spain. He was so impressed by the fabulous beauty of the Moorish decorations in the interior of the Alhambra that he had his own Evora Palace in Portugal decorated with similar tiles. In the tactical game Azul, it is up to the players to decorate the walls of the royal palace in Evora on behalf of the king. Form patterns, cover the walls of the palace, score the most points and win! Azul is back in a mini format, so you can now play this classic game anywhere! The Games Friends: “ Azul is a wonderful game for puzzling. The pieces and artwork are fantastic and the mechanics are simple and clear. Azul is a real winner in the family games category!"

999 Games Mille Fiori - Board Game (Dutch)
In Mille Fiori you take on the role of glassblower and trader. You focus on glass production through workshops, trade and own houses. Whoever invests the smartest will score the most points and win this beautifully designed game. The Mille Fiori game board is divided into 5 different categories, each of which awards points in its own way. The five categories represent different phases in the world of glassblowing. Workshops are places where glass is produced. Houses are places where glass is used. Trading houses sell the glass and the port takes care of exports. There is also a category with people containing people who support your work. In each category you will find spaces where you can place diamond tokens, which score points. You get five cards per round. During a turn, you choose one of these cards and pass the rest to the player next to you. Based on the card you play, you place a diamond token in one of the categories on the game board. When four cards have been played and passed in this way, the last card is discarded and the round ends. In the “Workshops” category, you score one point for each token that forms a group with the newly placed token. If you place a token on a pigment field, this score is doubled. In the “Houses” category you get points for the field you place your chip on. If this spot is preceded by other tokens in your color, you gain the points from those tokens again. The “People” category is shaped like pyramids. The higher you place your chip in the pyramid, the more points you get. However, you may not place tokens on higher layers until those below have been completed. If you have already placed chips in one of the previous layers, they will give you points again when new chips are placed in the layers above. The “Trade” category has places for tokens, which show four different types of goods. For each token you place with a certain commodity type, you get points for all tokens of that commodity type. In the “Port” category you can move your ship on the harbor track instead of placing tokens. The further the ship goes, the more points you get. You can also place a token in one of the five rows of the port. Once a row is full, you get points for the goods placed in the “Trade” category next to the rows of the “Port” category. Each category has options to play additional cards from an offer next to the game board. By smartly choosing cards and placing chips, you can cause chain reactions for more and more points. When someone places the last chip from their own supply or when all the cards are gone, the game is over. The one with the most points wins.
