Description

After the consequences of the Samian invasion, the Greek inhabitants of Sifnos wanted to better defend their mineral-rich land. Over the course of several centuries, they built a network of more than 70 lighthouses scattered across the small island. This system allowed them to quickly transmit all kinds of messages and, especially, to warn of approaching invasions from the sea. Now it's your turn to step into the role of an ancient Greek military commander. Prepare your people for marauding pirates by building towers, gathering soldiers, and investing in the future of Sifnos.

In Towers of Sifnos, your goal is to have the most victory points at the end of the game. Points are primarily earned by expanding your influence and successfully defending the mining activities of the island's 3 most important minerals: gold, silver, and lead. Players track their influence over these minerals on their player board. Multiple invasions occur throughout the game, giving players the chance to prove their skill and strength. After each invasion, the pirates become more numerous, or much-needed allied reinforcements arrive. The game ends immediately after 3 waves of reinforcements have reached the island.
