Description

The Warp is a fast-paced 4X board game for 1 to 4 players (5-6 with the expansion). After 5 years of disasters and uprisings, you take command of one of the remaining colonies on the deserted planet Yortar. You can choose 2 of 16 unique asymmetrical alien races and lead your colony on the path of prosperity, progress and/or conquest. You could even conquer the abandoned warp gate and discover who was behind the events that led to the global catastrophe. During your journey you will come face to face with rival colonies, unstable barbarians and exiled races with shifting loyalties.

The game features 66 possible objectives during play, allowing players to choose their own play style. The core mechanics include area control, map/resource management, and engine building. In addition to a dynamic dice system, the combat system features bluffing and bribery mechanisms. The Warp also includes a team mode that can be played in 2vs2 and 2vs2vs2.
