Tainted Grail: Echoes of the Past expansion (ENG)

Description

An add-on during the Tainted Grail Kickstarter campaign.

It includes a personal achievement sheet for each character from all three campaigns, including Niamh. This sheet lists 9 special conditions that activate 9 unique memories. If you meet a condition during the game, you can check it off and read an appropriate reminder from the "Echoes of the Past" brochure.

These memories have a small gameplay effect (sometimes positive, sometimes negative). But as you progress through the game and your character progresses in their story of self-discovery or reconciliation, you'll also earn some interesting rewards.

Each time you complete a block of three achievements, you will receive a Legendary Action Card that you keep with your character board. You can use these once to perform a single action so epic that bards will be singing tales of you for years to come. The legendary action card is then removed from the game.

If you manage to trigger ALL the basic memories, you will move on to the final, tenth entry in the brochure which contains a personal side-quest in which your hero will confront his greatest fears, weaknesses, or a personal nemesis. If they emerge victorious, they will receive a special golden Legendary Action card that permanently gives your character a second gameplay action!

The blades can be used as a legacy element, allowing your hero to start a new game with part of their story and some Heroic Feats cards already unlocked.

In fact, this add-on introduces interesting personal goals for each of the characters, and a small legacy element, while at the same time strengthening the character's backstories and providing a deeper look into the world of Tainted Grail.
