Six Sojourns is a new take on Eight-Minute Empire. It's a short area control game full of tough choices, creative strategy and tactics, and lots of player interaction.

Your goal in Six Sojourns is to grow your family and expand its influence. Players take turns choosing 1 card from 5 face-up cards. Each card contains actions that allow you to build houses, acquire ships, move, and recruit new family members. In addition, cards have special abilities and sets of icons that represent your family's expertise in various crafts, such as cooking, carpentry, sewing, shoemaking, art, blacksmithing, and jewelry making. In each game, you only choose 9 cards, which means you face tough choices every turn as you focus on crafts, skills, or the card.

Once all players have 9 cards, the game ends. Then you count the victory points and the player with the most points wins.

Each sojourn adds new cards and rules. You can customize your experience by playing the 6 sojourns as a campaign, or by going through each sojourn in order.
