Roam - Card game

Description

Arzium is a world of ancient civilizations, bizarre characters, inexplicable wonders and colorful characters. A strange substance has spread into the air in the land, causing all types of characters to wander around in a dazed and disorganized manner. It's your job to find and wake up the wandering characters.

Once you've found and awakened them, take them with you to search for even more lost characters in the realm of Arzium! The game is played in turns. The starting player starts. Then play continues clockwise. On your turn, you use the pattern of an available character to place travel stones in the playing area. Place your travel stones in the playing area in the shape and orientation indicated on the character's banner. Then turn the card over.

You should place all the pattern's travel stones in the playing area, if possible. Blank squares on the playing card do not have to fit in the playing area. If there is already a travel marker of yours or another player on a space, you skip that space. You must place all other travel stones.

If at the beginning of your turn all your characters are face down in front of you, you may reactivate the characters. Turn over all cards and proceed with the rest of your turn as normal. At the end of your turn you may purchase one of the face-up artifacts. Pay the number of coins indicated on the artifact tile. Place the tile face up in your personal playing area. Take a new artifact tile from the stack and place it in the row. A player may own an unlimited number of artifacts, but you can purchase a maximum of one artifact per turn.

Artifacts have special actions. When you use the special action of an artifact in your personal play area, you turn the artifact over (image down). If at the end of a turn the 6 spaces of a playing card in the playing area are completely filled with travel stones, the playing card is completed. The wandering character has been found!

The game continues until a player has 10 playing cards in his personal playing area. The 3 starting cards count. Complete the round so that all players have had the same number of turns. All players add up the points of their playing cards and artifact tiles (if played with them). The player with the most points in total wins the game. In the event of a tie, the tied player with the most coins wins. If there is still a tie after that, the tied players will share the victory.

The Games Friends: "Roam is a surprisingly cool card game with many tactical choices. Every round you use a character and with that you can place stones. Because there is a new character on the back of all the cards, you build a nice machine . Recommended!"
