Inspired by the hit video game that has sold more than 15 million copies worldwide, Monster Hunter World: The Board Game brings massive monster minis into a cooperative, choose-your-own-adventure battle campaign!

It's time to travel to an unknown land, because the Astera base camp needs you. Become a hunter of the Fifth Fleet to hunt down and slay the fearsome monsters that roam the New World. Protect the base camp and craft awesome new gear with the loot from your enemies so you can take on bigger beasts!

The choose-your-own-adventure element immerses you in the New World and offers five unique ways to approach each monster before entering battle. Enjoy the beauty of the landscape as in the video game and feel the tension build as you progress through the scenario. Enter dynamic and dangerous battles where positioning and teamwork are crucial to success. Leap away from devastating attacks and strike when the opportunity presents itself. One wrong move could be your downfall! Where you strike is also important. Earn the loot you need for the weapons you want by targeting different parts of a monster and depleting it over time.

Speaking of weapons, use your player board to track your health, stamina, and equipment. Just like in the video game, your weapon is essentially your fighter class, with a unique deck and upgrades that you can trade through crafting to get newer (and more powerful!) bonuses and attacks.
