Description

FlipToons Season 2 is a standalone expansion for FlipToons. Combine both sets, and you can play FlipToons with up to 8 players.

You start each game with a deck full of hopeful toon actors. Each round, you flip 6 of these toons from your deck onto your screen grid for a joint audition. Each toon card in your 3×2 grid has different talent effects. Many cards interact with each other, hopefully earning Fame for your studio. But not all toons have that special on-screen chemistry you're looking for; some don't work well together at all.

After each Flip, you tally the Fame points from your current grid of toons. Then you spend those to hire more stars for your cast. You can also spend some Fame to fire a card and remove that bad actor from the stage. Sorry, kid, you just don't have what it takes to be the star of this show. Then reset your Fame to 0, shuffle, and flip again.

If you are the first to generate 30 or more Fame in a single Flip, you earn the Critic's Choice award, which is worth extra Fame points, and you trigger the end of the game. After that turn's market phase, it's time for the Final Flip. The player who earns the most Fame during the Final Flip is declared the winner. Applause.
