Darwin's Journey - Board Game (ENG)

Description

When the only thing you can make out on the horizon for days is the line dividing the sea from the sky, the glimpse of a distant shore looming before you will make you shudder with the realization that the adventure is about to begin.

You are at the beginning of an extensive exploration of the Galapagos, a magical place of unimaginable beauty and endless biodiversity. There you will build collections and increase your knowledge of the natural sciences. Your eyes will learn how to detect hidden species in the tropical forest as you gaze at nature's myriad colors and textures. After inspiring hours of study and drawing illuminating conclusions, you will rest under a sparkling sky and admire the astonishing complexity of the animal kingdom.

Darwin's Journey is a worker-placement game in which players recall Charles Darwin's thoughts on his adventure through the Galapagos Islands, which contributed to the development of his theory of evolution.

With the game's innovative worker progression system, each worker will have to study the disciplines required to perform various actions in the game, such as exploration, correspondence, collection, and sending collections found on the island to museums to to contribute to human knowledge of biology. The game lasts five rounds and thanks to various short- and long-term objectives, every action you take will earn victory points in different ways.
