You therefore set up the first companies in history with tradable shares ( chartered enterprises ). You invest in Amsterdam, you build your first warehouses and you contribute to the growth of what will become the richest city in the West. Your goal? Making the city prosper with profit and wealth.

The game has a healthy mix of luck elements and strategy. Chartered is easy to learn but offers enough challenge, so you can play it quickly and there are many paths to winning. With its double-sided board, the game can be adapted to the number of players; With two or three players you use one side, with four to six the other side.
