Black Rose Wars takes place in the hectic fantasy world Nova Aetas, where building a strong deck and the right strategy come in handy. Each player is a powerful mage of the Black Rose Order and wants to become the new Supreme Magiter, gaining the powers of the Black Rose Artifect and utilizing The Forgotten Magic.

Each mage has six schools of magic at his or her disposal, each with its own strategy to increase your power. Mages fight against each other in an arena while summoning powerful creatures.
