Teotihuacan: City of the Gods is a strategic game in which the use of workers and raw materials, smart planning and adaptability are important. Each player orders a group of dice workers to move around action locations on a modular board. On his turn, each player moves a worker to a new location, chooses one of the two action options there (and upgrades his workers) or takes a strong bonus action (but without upgrading). As the mysterious decline of Teotihuacan approaches, players acquire technologies, work on the beautiful Pyramid of the Sun, build homes for the city's inhabitants, collect precious masks and climb the stairs of three great temples to earn bonuses given by the gods. Create a strategy, change it with every other board build, and keep an eye on the sky, because every upcoming solar eclipse means your efforts will be evaluated - and your fame could rise or become worthless. Board & Dice Founders of Teotihuacan - Board Game (ENG)
Founders of Teotihuacan is a standalone game. When it is your turn, you must perform an action or pass. To perform an action, place 1, 2, or 3 of your action disks on an action space on the board and perform a corresponding action. Each action space can contain up to 4 action discs, including bonus discs! Your personal player board is divided into four districts. Buildings and temples can only be placed in the two districts closest to your architect. Pyramid tiles can only be placed within the six pyramid squares closest to your architect. After performing an action, move your architect clockwise to the next side of your player board. This changes your architect's range for your next turn. After all players have passed, the current round ends. After the game ends, players score additional victory points for how well the districts complete their pyramid.
