Smallfolk is een tableau-builder over mythen en folklore van over de hele wereld.

Elke speler kruipt in de huid van een avonturier en reist door de wereld, verzamelt behulpzame smallfolk, vindt krachtige relikwieën en bezoekt mythische wonderen. Vind helden onderweg om je te helpen en verzamel overwinningspunten door kaarten in je verhaal te spelen.

Het spel eindigt zodra alle overwinningspunten in het midden zijn geclaimd. Tel je verzamelde overwinningspunten op en de waarde van je kaarten om te bepalen wie er gewonnen heeft, schud daarna de verhaaldeck en speel opnieuw.
