Munchkin
Munchkin is a very funny card game, created by Steve Jackson. In Munchkin you enter the dungeons and want to kill everyone you meet. Sounds unfair? It does! In Munchkin you betray your friends and steal their stuff. You try to steal the treasure and escape in order to be the best (or worst).
In Munchkin you try to grab as many magical items as possible, like the Don the Horny helmet or the Boots of Butt-Kicking . The drawings are made by John Kovalic.
Munchkin card game
Munchkin is a satirical card game, in which all the clichés and strangeness of Dungeons and Dragons and other role-playing games pass by. Each player starts at level 1 and you win if you reach level 10 first. You can achieve different character classes during the game, which you may know from D&D.
There are two different types of cards in Munchkin: treasure cards and encounter cards. Each turn, the current player may 'kick down a door' (draw a card from the encounter deck), which usually results in a fight with a monster. Monsters have their own level and players must try to score higher than that level. This can be achieved by using weapons and powers that you have collected during the game. Other players can choose to help or not to help, by adding other monsters.
In Munchkin, when you defeat a monster, you generally get to draw treasure cards. When a monster defeats you, less fun things happen, like losing a level or a treasure card.
