For this occasion we have prepared a humanoid scenario on an isolated continent. Here each of you holds the rank of a local deity who is closely connected to his own civilization and must lead it to success in relation to the other civilizations. Your development possibilities are endless and range from cultural and technical progress to evolutionary adaptations. For example, what would be more advantageous for your tribes: inventing the wheel or getting wings? Show us your skill in operating your civilization console and show how well you can adapt to changing environmental conditions and mild creation chaos. When the exam ends after four eras, whoever has accumulated the most success points will not only pass the exam, but will also become a full member of the Technical Academy of Creation and have the opportunity to be promoted to the next instance. Civolution is a medium to heavy Euro-style game that uses a dice selection mechanic to trigger actions on a tech tree. As you discover how to best use your dice and bring your unique cards into play, countless strategies and paths to victory will emerge. Named after Swiss psychiatrist Hermann Rorschach, Rorschach uses some of his famous inkblot images (and many new ones) to test two teams. The teams earn points by correctly guessing how their members matched randomly selected words with these inkblot images. Shifting Seasons is a beautifully abstract game in which players carefully push season tiles off a community board to gain the valuable tile for their own boards. Each turn, a player takes a tile from the display and slides it into one of the four rows on the community board, freeing up a single tile at the end of that row. Since each row is numbered, the active player must place the newly acquired tile on their board in the matching numbered quadrant. By choosing wisely where to place each collected tile, players can unlock valuable bonuses and fulfill the requirements of the four scoring cards randomly dealt at the start of the game.
