Bruxelles 1893 is a worker placement game with elements of bidding and majority control. Each player is an architect at the end of the 19th century and tries, through various actions, to realize an architectural work in the Art Nouveau style. The most successful building earns the most points. Each player can also create works of art to increase their score. The action board is modular, with not every player having access to every action every turn. Some actions cost money - obtaining high-quality materials, building a level of your personal home, finding a protector, creating a work of art, selling that work of art for money and prestige - while other actions are free but potentially lead to the loss of one of your workers; these last actions include acquiring low-quality materials, activating your patrons, visiting the fair and performing one of the actions with a cost. Once everyone has decided to take no further actions, the round ends and players have an art exhibition in which they can sell works. Players then receive prestige points or bonus cards based on the symbols next to which they have placed their workers on the action board. After five rounds, the game ends and players score bonus points based on their architect level, their bonus cards, how well they completed their work and the money they have with them. The player with the most points wins.

Nusfjord is a quiet fishing village in the Lofoten archipelago in northern Norway. Fifty years ago the trade boomed when the cod arrived there. Today, Nusfjord is more of a museum than a village, with fewer than a hundred inhabitants. Imagine how beautiful this place must be, considering you have to pay a fee to even look at the houses. Cruise ships used to sail past this long and now largely deserted island world. In the time in which the game Nusfjord is set, it looked very different. Sailing ships dominated the fjord. The rocks around Nusfjord are covered with trees. As the owner of a large fishing company in Nusfjord on the Lofoten archipelago, your goal is to develop the harbor and the surrounding landscape. To succeed, you must increase your fleet, clear the forest, build new buildings and satisfy the local elders. Of course, others do this too, so the competition is fierce. Similar to Agricola and Ora et Labora, Nusfjord has a worker placement mechanism, where each player starts with three workers who they place on a central board to activate certain actions. Whether a player wants to clear a forest on their own board, buy a new cutter, or build a building, they must place a worker in the correct space - which is only possible if there is room for that worker. Money is scarce, and one of the faster and easier ways to get it is to put shares of your own company on the market. This risky action can be worth it, because if you manage to buy these shares yourself, you will usually have won money and suffered no downsides.

In the Habitats game, each player builds a vast wildlife park without cages or fences. The animals in your park need their natural habitats: grassland, shrubs, rocks or lakes. For example, the zebra needs a large area of grass and some adjacent water, while a bat needs rocks, bushes and water, a deer needs bushes and grass, and a crocodile needs mainly water. There are snakes, baboons, bees, elephants, otters, lizards, turtles, eagles, meerkats, scorpions, boars, catfish, rhinos, and so on, each with their own landscape requirements - a total of 68 different animals. Each player starts his individual park with an entrance tile and is represented on the animal tile market by a meeple. On a turn, a player takes the tile to the left, right or in front of him, moves his figure to the space just vacated and then draws a tile to place it where his figure was at the beginning of the turn. When adding an animal tile to your park, you also add the main landscape - the basic tile for the animal - to your park. While placing this new animal, your own piece of landscape can help fulfill the demands of other animals, for example the water on a hippo tile meeting the water needs of the adjacent otter. Thus, it becomes increasingly difficult to meet every need of the land of all animals as you add more tiles. In addition to expanding your park with different landscape types, flora and animals, you can improve its profitability by building additional access roads, hiking areas and observation towers. Habitats lasts three seasons, with each player receiving 6-9 new tiles for their park in each season. Whoever best meets the season goal will receive bonus points, with a smaller number of points for second and third place. At the end of the game, each player scores for each tile in their park based on whether that tile's requirements have been met. Whoever scores the most points wins!
