Description

Viscounts of the West Kingdom is set in a time when the power of the king is slowly decreasing. The king chose peace over wealth and even offered the enemies money to stop fighting. Peace came, but poverty caused many people to lose confidence in the crown. We as viscounts must keep a close eye on that trust, because the support of the people is the most important.

The goal in Viscounts of the West Kingdom is very simple: collect the most victory points. You can get these by building buildings, writing manuscripts and working in the castle. You start the game with a number of people, but you must try to select the talented workers as quickly as possible so that you can take advantage of their gifts. Each turn you travel through the kingdom looking for a way to increase your influence there. You do all this until the kingdom is prosperous again or until it has descended into absolute poverty. Or both!
