Reiner Knizia's auction game about film production. Over four rounds, players bid on tokens representing real directors, actors, cameras, effects, music, guest stars and agents. These are all placed on the players' film strips to complete the film production. So for example a movie might need 2 actors, but no music or effects and so on. When films are completed, the point value is marked and another strip of film is taken. There are two sides each round, where players can choose from offers without paying anything. There are bonus points for the first completed films and the best films, the best directors, even the worst film.
The auction continues until one winning bid remains. Players pay into the pot with contracts, and the rest of the players share the pot each turn. So it's a closed economy where players try to time bidding for what they really need to complete movies.
