Description

The Isles of Galecrest are full of loot. As an air pirate you enter the battle for fame and fortune. You lead your own gang of pirates, who you send to the different islands one by one. Rank and reputation determine whether you win the loot.

In Libertalia you receive a number of character cards per round, of which you must then use one per turn. Each player has the same character cards. The highest character card placed on an island wins the loot. In the event of a tie, the player with the best reputation wins. However, weaker pirates can still play a tactical role in the night phases, which take place after the island phases.

Libertalia is a tactical game, where you have to pay close attention to what your opponent is planning. After all, you both have the same cards in your hands! This creates an exciting cat-and-mouse game. Who will use the character cards smartest and walk away with the loot?
