In the heart of New York stands a historic skyscraper, known for its shape resembling an old-fashioned flatiron: the "Flatiron" building. In this strategic board game for two players, you participate in the construction of this iconic building. Develop your enterprise by buying cards, perform actions on the streets around the Flatiron, and visit city hall to carry out construction tasks. If you have contributed the largest stone to the construction when the roof is placed on the building, you will take home the win!

Flatiron is a strategic challenge for two players. If you are looking for a game with accessible rules, yet plenty of depth to take on the challenge with a friend or partner, then this is the perfect game for you. If you prefer to play alone, Flatiron offers a solo mode, in which you compete against the true architect of the Flatiron.

Players take turns building the edifice until one of them constructs the roof. The game then ends immediately. On your turn, you move your architect and perform an action at that location. Use actions to gather enough money to acquire laws and a better reputation. These will earn you points at the end of the game. You can also use your action to buy and build pillars to advance the construction of the Flatiron. If there are enough pillars, you can start on the next floor. Building pillars and floors again gives you points and opens up new actions. By building at the right time, adhering to the law, and maintaining your reputation, you can collect all the points you need to secure the win when the roof is finally placed.
