Eagle-Gryphon Games Inventions: Evolution of Ideas - Board Game (ENG)
Since the beginning of time, humanity has sought new ideas and continually developed them into even newer concepts. Their genius made them distinctive from other animals. Every invention is a true evolutionary step. The use of tools by humans exceeds the efforts of all, making Homo sapiens technologists since long before historical records were invented. Inventions: Evolution of Ideas follows humanity's most remarkable innovations and puts the power of these technological advances in your hands to evolve your societies through the ages. In Inventions, maps simulate these new concepts. Maps are the ideas that eventually become inventions. Once invented, these technologies can be shared with the world, and everyone involved in the process spreads the exciting news and gives credit where credit is due. Developing these inventions furthers the progress of your society, furthering its technology, economy, and culture. You can even share with other societies, further increasing the effectiveness of the inventions! Inventions is a tactical game, but you'll do best by building these tactics around a long-term strategy. Each society's progress is measured in Intellectual Property Points (IPP), and the player who has the most IPP has the strongest society and wins the game.

To do this, the other players (the witnesses) give the detectives a one-word clue that starts with the letter at the end of the letter card line. The detectives then jointly offer an answer, and once they find the solution, two other players become the detectives and a new word is revealed. If not, the witness players propose a new clue with a new letter card. The fewer clues used and the more words guessed, the higher the score. Will you manage to break the world record?

Franjos Can't Stop - Board Game (NL)
In Can't Stop, players try their luck with dice and tactically choose dice combinations to be the first to close three columns. The board has one column for each possible total of two six-sided dice, but the number of squares in each column varies: the more likely a total, the more squares in that column and the more rolls required to complete it. On a player's turn, he rolls four dice and arranges them in pairs: 1 4 5 6 can become 1+4 and 5+6 for 5 & 11, 1+5 and 4+6 for 6 & 10, or 1 +6 and 4+5 for 7 & 9. The player places or moves progress markers in the open column(s) associated with his chosen totals and then chooses whether to roll again or end his turn. Dare and courage are needed to gain the necessary lead over your opponents, but overconfidence is immediately punished... Will your mountain climbers be the first to reach 3 mountain peaks?

The player who played the card with the highest value wins the trick and starts the next one. This continues until all cards have been played. The hill is completed after 4 turns and determines the goat limit. Whoever has collected the most goats after 8 tricks and has not exceeded the goat limit wins the game. You can also choose to play multiple rounds and record the scores. Bokken Schieten is a card game that 999 Games successfully released 15 years ago, but is now self-publishing in a new guise.
