In The Smoky Valley, you are an investor who made possible the industrial and economic development of Griffintown in the 19th century. Your goal is to get the most prestige points for participating in the development of the city, making it the most prosperous place in North America. During the game you build industries, produce and process goods, and sell those goods locally or export them to foreign markets. You will also be asked to participate in the widening and modernization of the newly constructed Lachine Canal.
