Qwixx
Qwixx is the most popular dice game in the Netherlands! It won the Dutch Game Award in 2014 and was nominated for Toy of the Year in 2013. The fun thing about the Qwixx dice game is that you never have to wait for your turn: everyone always plays! Players take turns rolling the dice and everyone can use the results on the dice to cross off numbers on their Qwixx score sheet. The more numbers you cross off, the more points you get. Qwixx is a game that you can explain to someone in two minutes and that remains exciting until the very last moment. Because despite the fact that it is a dice game, you can certainly play Qwixx tactically! Also a fan of Qwixx? Then try a Qwixx expansion!
Qwixx game rules
Qwixx is a dice game where everyone gets their own score sheet. This score sheet contains four rows with eleven numbers on each. The top two rows - the yellow and red rows - contain increasing numbers (2-12), while the bottom two rows - the green and blue - are decreasing (12-2). Qwixx also contains six dice: four colored and two white. Players take turns throwing all the dice. All players may add up the number of the two white dice and cross it out on their score sheet (in a row of their choice). The active player may also cross out the number formed by one white and one colored die (in the colored row of the die). The active player must perform at least one of these two actions, otherwise he must cross out a 'failed throw' and that results in minus points at the end of Qwixx.
You must always cross out the numbers from left to right. Of course, you can skip numbers, but don't make the steps too big, because you can never cross out anything in between. Only when you have at least five crosses in one row, you can cross out the last number of the row (2 or 12). Have you done that? Then the entire row is locked for all players and you can cross out the lock at the end of the row. The lock earns Qwixx bonus points at the end of the game. The game ends when two rows are closed or when someone has crossed out four failed throws. Then it's time to write down the points and determine the winner of Qwixx!
Qwixx On Board
Qwixx On Board is a sequel to the Qwixx game. This version of the dice game is played with the original rules, but includes a game board. The game board provides more possibilities. For example, you have to move pawns, take fields, deliberately place crosses and prevent failed throws. With Qwixx On Board, it is also important to plan the ending as well as possible. A must for all Qwixx fans!
Qwixx Longo
Qwixx Longo contains longer number rows, 8-sided dice and two unique lucky numbers for each player. In short: Qwixx Longo is a whole new variant of Qwixx. Try to earn as many points as possible and roll your way to victory.
