Patchwork game

Patchwork is a popular game by board game legend Uwe Rosenberg. In Patchwork you puzzle with patches (playing pieces), of which you want to fit as many as possible on your tableau. You also have to take into account the time it takes to fit and the income it yields in knots. The knots are also your victory points, which ensure that you win Patchwork! The empty fields of your tableau give you negative points. But for the first person to build a blanket of 7 x 7, bonus points are ready. A funny concept of Patchwork is that players do not take turns. The person who is behind in time, keeps his turn until his time stone has caught up with the other. Because the pieces of Patchwork are always in a different order, every game remains surprising!

Playing patchwork with children

Do you want to play Patchwork with young children? Then the normal game is probably a bit too difficult. Fortunately, there is Patchwork Light, which is a simplified version of the original Patchwork game. Because an intermediate score is calculated after every six turns, the trick is to draw the most valuable rectangle possible in Patchwork Doodle.
