Marvel Champions
Marvel Champions is the epic card game from Fantasy Flight Games where you step into the shoes of your favorite Marvel heroes and battle epic villains. Can you save the world together with your friends?
In Marvel Champions, each player plays a Marvel superhero. Each hero has their own deck of cards, based on their character. During the game, players can call upon their allies, build powerful weapons, and use armor to defeat the villains of the Marvel universe.
In each scenario of Marvel Champions The Card Game, the heroes will face a powerful villain and their own personal enemies that can be shuffled into the hero deck. If the heroes defeat the villain before he can complete his plan, the heroes win the game.

Base game
Iron Man
In Iron Man you slowly build up the suit by playing cards with suit parts. This makes you not that strong at the beginning, but you slowly become a gigantic fighting machine. You play with aggression cards and many tech upgrades.
Spiderman
Spiderman plays with justice cards (after all, it is your friendly neighborhood Spiderman ) and a lot of defense. Spiderman reacts quickly to many different situations and if things get out of hand, you can always go to aunt May to recover.

Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel has character cards with two specializations instead of one, namely aggression and leadership. She charges energy each time and then uses it to fight back hard.
Black Panther
Black Panther plays with protection cards. You build this character slowly with upgrade cards, which you can activate all at the same time with a 'Wakanda Forever' card. So he needs some building up, but that will make you stronger.
Rise of Red Skull

Captain America
Captain America obviously plays with leadership cards in Marvel Champions. He also makes a lot of use of his shield. You throw the shield away to perform strong actions and then take it back in your hand, just like Cap's shield does.
Doctor Strange
Doctor Strange works with two decks: his normal deck and a small extra deck. This Marvel Champions hero plays with a lot of protection cards and has a big advantage in defense. Of course, 'energy' plays an important part in his deck.
Ms Marvel
Ms Marvel's deck works with many strong, but often one-time cards, which you can also boost. This makes some turns very strong and other turns you do less.
Thor
Thor's hammer, Mjölnir, is of course an important part of his deck. With this hammer you strike out, after which it returns to your hand. Thor's deck is therefore very strong, but a bit more buildable than, for example, The Hulk's deck. Of course, Thor plays with aggression cards.
Black Widow
Black Widow plays mainly with justice cards. With this deck you prepare yourself with preparation cards, with which you build up bonuses.
Hulk
He's big, he's big, and he's STRONG. It won't surprise you to hear that Hulk is a smasher! This green beast only knows aggression cards in Marvel Champions that you can build with strong resource cards.

Scarlet Witch
Scarlet Witch is very villain dependent. You play this Marvel character with the encounter deck and with energies.

The Wasp
If you play The Wasp, you don't play with two, but with three characters. Her alter ego, Janet van Dyne, her tiny variant and The Wasp as Giant. Her character card also has a front, back and inside (you can unfold it, which literally makes you a giant). Her powers depend on her form and changing forms also gives advantages with cards.
Star Lord
Star-lord plays with leadership cards and is devoted to his element gun. With his wannabe bad boy image he provokes enemies, so that he himself might get some damage, but can also hit harder.
Gamora
Gamora plays with aggression cards. All cards work together so you can build a nice engine and one thing is for sure: she can fight hard.
Drax
When playing Drax, it's all about revenge. During the game, you get revenge tokens every time you get attacked, so your basic attack gets stronger. He also plays mostly protection cards.
Venom
Venom has a lot of cards that allow you to build more and more restricted cards. This allows you to really build a character with many, many weapons. Venom plays a lot with justice cards in Marvel Champions.
