Between Two Castles Essential Edition is a competitive drafting and tile placement game for 2-7 players, designed by Ben Rosset and Matthew O'Malley. The game takes approximately 45-60 minutes to play. This Essential Edition combines the original game with the Secrets & Soirees expansion in one box. The King Demands a Castle! As a world-renowned Master Builder, you’ve been asked by the King to help design his castles. Projects of this magnitude require the expertise of more than one person. For each assignment, you’ll work with a different Master Builder to bring your grand plans to life. Can you use your planning and collaboration skills to design the most impressive castles in the world? In Between Two Castles, each tile is a room in a castle. You work with the player on your left to design one castle, and with the player on your right to design another. Each turn, you choose two tiles from your hand, reveal them, and place them with your partners. At the end of the game, all castles are scored. Your personal final score is the lowest score of the two castles you worked on. The player with the highest final score wins. To win, you must divide your attention equally between both castles.
